History of Jerry Pelfrey Fireworks
The history of Jerry Pelfrey Fireworks dates back to 1972 in Paintsville, Kentucky. Barber Bill Pelfrey sold fireworks out of his barbershop. Needless to say, Barber Bill Pelfrey's fireworks came out with a bang!
Succeeded by his son, Jerry Pelfrey took over the business in 1989. After Jerry's unexpected passing, his brother Cliff Pelfrey took over the family business in 2006. In honor of his brother, Cliff renamed the business Jerry Pelfrey Fireworks.
Today, Jerry Pelfrey Fireworks is the largest independent fireworks business in Kentucky.
